The facilities of the Municipal Theater of San Bartolomé were overwhelmed this Wednesday to accommodate the large family of hikers and followers of the biologist Ignacio (Nacho) Romero, who presented the book "Lanzarote Hiking Guide".

The mayor of San Bartolomé, María Dolores Corujo, was in charge of welcoming all those present and made a brief review of the author, of whom she said that he was "a very valuable reference" and a "disseminator and defender of the environment".

After her, Rubén Acosta, photographer and representative of the publishing company, Ediciones Remotas, took the floor. Acosta gave a breakdown of how the intense work was carried out to ensure that the guide was very practical for the user.

Nacho Romero, visibly moved, began his speech by thanking the massive attendance of the public at the event. With the help of Rubén Acosta, he commented on the guide, the photographs, the signage of the trails, the places of tourist interest, as well as the rich and varied gastronomic culture of Lanzarote. "Lanzarote Hiking Guide" consists of three very well differentiated parts, such as the geographical situation, hiking and museums and centers of interest.

Once the presentation was finished, Nacho Romero, totally overwhelmed by the applause and shows of affection, began to sign the guide. The line that formed went from the stage to the hall of the Theater. The guide can be purchased in Lanzarote bookstores.
