The State Meteorological Agency has activated the yellow warning for rain and storms for this Thursday, February 16. It is expected that there will be widespread rainfall throughout the island and that approximately 15 liters will fall per hour.
From Aemet they point out that there will be cloudy intervals, with predominance of cloudy skies in the early and late hours of the day. Temperatures will drop slightly and will range between 13 and 19 degrees. For its part, the wind will be from the north component of weak to moderate character and will tend to northeast towards the afternoon.
Swimming in the rain
The low temperatures and rain this Wednesday morning, February 15, have not prevented some people from taking a bath in the calm sea of El Reducto beach, in the city of Arrecife.
In the video, you can see an elderly man who, after a while of swimming in the rain, calmly leaves the water without a wetsuit while on the promenade you can see people completely covered with warm clothes and umbrellas.
