The Salvamar Al Nair has rescued a third boat this Saturday in waters near Lanzarote. This boat was carrying 46 people who have been transferred to the Commercial dock of Arrecife to be assisted by the Red Cross.
All the occupants of this boat are of sub-Saharan origin, including 27 men, 13 women, four boys, one girl and one baby.
In total, 147 migrants have arrived on the island today, including women and a baby. All the boats have been intercepted by Maritime Rescue.
