The donation of Gemma García Acosta of the benefits obtained by her book of poems 'From my bathtub' has allowed the social and cultural association for women, Mararía, to distribute food this week to 50 families.
"Thank you so much to the generous colleague and also, of course, to GM Cash Lanzarote, for facilitating the purchase," they point out from the association.
However, Mararía states that the difficult socio-economic situation on the island forces them to make a new call to society for the collection of food, cleaning products and personal hygiene products, in order to maintain the provision of basic necessities to the most vulnerable homes.

People who wish to collaborate can contact Mararía through the telephones 928 804 834 and 630 856 076, from Monday to Friday, from 09.00 to 13.00 hours and from 16.00 to 20.00 hours.
