The model born in Tenerife and based in Lanzarote, Macu Herrera, won the title of 'Best Body' in Mrs Universe 2018, which is held from December 4 to 12 in Cebu (Philippines). "It's three in the morning here, but I have to tell you that I have just been crowned with the title of Mrs Best Body Universe 2018, I am excited and shocked," Macu Herrera announced on her Facebook this Sunday.
Macu Herrera represents the Canary Islands in the Mrs Universe 2018 beauty pageant, after Miriam Vega, first finalist of the Mrs+30 Las Palmas 2017-2018 pageant, left the title free as she could not continue for personal reasons.
According to the organization of the Mrs+30 Canarias pageant, Macu Herrera began her modeling career at the age of 18 and, after a long break to dedicate herself to being a mother, 22 years later she has returned to the world of fashion after being selected to participate in the filming of the movie Wonder Woman (Fuerteventura), being the main extra among two hundred women.
Macu Herrera is 42 years old, is the mother of a 19 year old girl, is passionate about fashion, and works in different sectors of the business world. She arrived at the Mrs+30 Canarias pageant after applying to the casting for women over 40 years old.
