The journalist from La Palma, Lydia Lozano, who traveled to La Palma to report on the situation of her countrymen on the program 'Sálvame' due to the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano, has been caught in an act of insensitivity and her reaction was broadcast live. The Canarian DJ Jacob Alonso, who is collaborating these days as a volunteer in the organization of aid to those affected by the volcano, reproaches her attitude in the video that he broadcast live this Wednesday through his Instagram profile.
According to Jacob's version, who corners Lozano until she confirms his accusations, the journalist arrived at the solidarity point of the sports hall of Los Llanos de Aridane saying that she was from 'Sálvame' and that she needed someone for the program who had suffered the misfortune of losing everything, something that Alonso did not like at all.
In the video that has gone viral, extracted from the Instagram live made by Alonso, the DJ starts a conversation with the journalist, who is in a somewhat disheveled state, behind the mask and sunglasses, and with a ponytail that gathers her disheveled hair. Lydia Lozano ends up acknowledging that she had asked for a person who suffered the consequences of the eruption. "Yes, I said that I am looking for people who are having a bad time," she admits, but defends herself by saying that her intention is to help. Jacob Alonso is not convinced and ends up accusing her of sensationalism.
