Dozens of people took to the streets in Arrecife to demand an end to sexist violence and in tribute to the women who have been murdered in Spain by this scourge.

From 6.30 p.m. on Monday, November 25, the march departed from Cuatro Esquinas to the Casa Amarilla, on the Real street of the capital of Lanzarote, with posters in hand with the names of the murdered women.

The services of the Cabildo of Lanzarote that protect the victims of sexist violence have attended to 739 women, boys and girls so far this year. In addition, there are a total of 177 women and minors housed in housing resources on the island.
