The heat wave that Lanzarote is experiencing had its highest peak this Monday, when thermometers reached 42.1 degrees at the station located at the Lanzarote airport.
In other areas of the island, high temperatures were also recorded, reaching almost 40 degrees, such as the 39 6 reached in Tías and 38.8 in Haría. On the contrary, Tinajo was the least hot place and barely reached 31.2 degrees. For its part, Playa Blanca recorded a temperature of 34.8 degrees.
This Tuesday the yellow alert remains active until 7:00 p.m., according to the State Meteorological Agency. And for this Wednesday, the heat is expected to begin to subside on the island.
