Masdache hosted a demonstration this Saturday, October 25, to protest the installation of a communications tower in the town's surroundings. The gathering brought together numerous residents who expressed their concern about the potential impact of the infrastructure on the landscape and quality of life in the area.
The protest took place peacefully and without incident, according to the organizers, who highlighted the broad participation and the atmosphere of unity shown during the day.
Representatives from Ecologistas en Acción and political forces from the opposition also attended the event, showing their support for the neighborhood demands. The participants insisted on the need to seek alternatives that reconcile technological development with environmental protection and public health.
