Lanzarote has added four new positive cases of Covid-19 in the last day, although five discharges have also been reported. In this way, the number of active cases has dropped from 75 to 74 this Monday.
In addition, the data includes part of the results of the screening that is being done in the neighborhoods of San Francisco Javier and Tinasoria, where the number of cases detected is being very low. This Sunday 836 tests were processed (when in Lanzarote usually between 100 and 200 are done), and including the screening and ordinary PCR only these four cases were detected.
However, in the last hours there has also been a new admission to the Molina Orosa Hospital, where there are already two patients on the ward, and none in the Intensive Care Unit.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,313 people have been diagnosed in Lanzarote. Of these, 1,230 have already overcome the disease and nine have died. As for the 74 cases that remain active, 72 do not present serious symptoms and are in home isolation.
