Lanzarote has added eight new positive cases of Covid in the last day, in which 11 discharges have also been reported on the island. Thus, active cases have decreased to 59, which is three less than the previous day.
However, the accumulated incidence has increased. In seven days it has done so by four and a half points, standing at 22.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while in 14 days it has gone from 50.7 to 53.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
The total number of coronavirus cases accumulated since the beginning of the pandemic in Lanzarote is now 5,752, of which 50 died and 5,644 have overcome the disease.
In the last day, according to data from the Ministry of Health, 149 Covid tests were carried out on the island compared to about 230 the previous day, after which half as many new cases were reported as this Thursday.
