Lanzarote has added 122 positive cases of Covid in three days, since the last update of the data published by the Ministry of Health last Tuesday. However, in that period only 554 tests have been carried out, that is, those that had been done in a single day until last week.
It should be remembered that national protocols were updated this Tuesday, and tests will no longer be carried out "in general". From now on, they are only done to patients with severe symptoms or who are vulnerable due to age or previous pathologies, as well as healthcare and social healthcare personnel.
In the last three days a total of 116 discharges have been reported, so the Island currently has 225 active cases, six more than last Tuesday.
The accumulated incidence is placed by the Ministry of Health this Friday at 148 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at 7 days, and at 275 at 14 days.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 21,484 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the island, of which 21,191 have already overcome the disease and 69 have died.
