The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, has urged to maintain protection measures against covid-19, including the use of masks, in the face of the increase in infections and hospital occupancy, and has insisted on the need to get the booster dose of the vaccine, especially those under 50 years of age.
Darias made these remarks during her visit to the Marqués de Valdecilla Hospital, where she was also asked about the start of the administration of the booster dose to those over 80 years of age, scheduled for the fall, although Catalonia has proposed that the campaign be brought forward due to the increase in cases.
