Canal Gestión has announced that the water supplies in Haría, Máguez and Guinate, all in the northern area of Lanzarote, remain closed this Wednesday. This has been informed through its website.

The latest update from the company that manages water in Lanzarote includes these three localities as affected by the water cuts. Also, in the south of the island, the town of Uga is experiencing problems with water pressure.

Regarding the supply of reclaimed water, the area of El Monte and the town of Tinajo will not be able to receive their supply this Wednesday due to "a fault in the system."

Cuts continue for farmers

Farmers are one of the groups most affected by the interruption of the water service. There are several points in Lanzarote that will not have their farms supplied due to the "situation of restrictions in the supply of drinking water."

Thus, in the municipality of Haría, the areas of Temisa, from Yé to the Mirador del Río, the farms from Guinate to Máguez, El Raso, Las Quemadas, El Castillejo, Los Lajares, Trujillo, Los Llanos, Las Rosas are the ones that will not be able to receive the supply this week.

On the other hand, in San Bartolomé, the affected spaces are Las Cuevas, El Islote and La Caldera. While in Teguise, the affected spaces are El Majuelo, the area of the cemetery, the road that connects Teguise with Famara and the Vega de San José.

The agricultural farms of the Las Herrentas road, the section between La Costa and Tajaste, the area between Soo and El Cuhillo and Lajas del Sol, in the municipality of Tinajo, are also affected this week.

Apart from this situation, Canal Gestión informs that there may be "other incidents due to small faults and programmed maneuvers" that may generate "momentary alterations in the supply of specific streets."
