The outbreak detected in a gym in Arrecife more than two weeks ago continues to grow and has already reached 136 affected. The last 9 positive cases of Covid-19 confirmed this Wednesday correspond to people around those infected in the center.

Regarding users and workers, the sample collection for the screening carried out by the Canary Islands Health Service ended last Sunday, confirming a total of 68 positive cases "directly related to sports activity."

The rest corresponds to family, social, and work ramifications, which this Wednesday already account for half of the cases associated with this outbreak. In addition, for each new positive that is detected, the tracing of their close contacts continues, so the number of affected could continue to grow.
