The photographer Juan José Cordero Valeriano took advantage of the arrival of the blue supermoon, last Wednesday, August 30, to frame it in an image where the Guanapay castle and the tower of the Church of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe in the Villa de Teguise shared their prominence.

In a beautiful image, this visual artist, from La Gomera and residing in Lanzarote for 27 years, took advantage of the Moon's proximity to Earth to capture it in all its splendor. Juan José Cordero photographed the blue supermoon, aligned with the Castle, on the top of the mountain, and the Teguise church. The image is complemented by a cloudy sky that covers part of the full Moon, but allows its upper part to be seen.

In order to take this photograph, he used a telephoto lens and moved to the Muñique area to make the moon appear larger than the Castle. The parameters he used were a diaphragm aperture of 5.6, a shutter speed of 1/2 second and an ISO sensitivity of 800. In addition, the taking of this image was planned through the PhotoPills application.
