Four more boats rescued near the coast of Lanzarote

In total, 168 people were traveling, including women, children, and a baby.

The Guardamar Polimnia has rescued two boats near the coast of Lanzarote, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.

The first inflatable boat was intercepted at about half past one in the morning 22 miles east of Lanzarote. On board were 48 men and one woman of sub-Saharan and Maghreb origin, in apparent good health. They have been transferred to Puerto Naos where they have been attended by the Red Cross.

Hours later, a fishing boat gave the alert that it had intercepted another boat. On board were 26 people, including 5 women and a baby, Maritime Rescue has transferred them to Puerto Naos.

And finally, the third boat has been rescued in which 53 people were traveling, of which there are 3 women and 3 children. When he was transferring the occupants to Puerto Naos, he found another pneumatic boat in which 41 people were traveling.
