The Vuelta Ciclista a Lanzarote has successfully concluded its third edition at the Club La Santa facilities. After a weekend in which more than 500 cyclists have toured the island with the support of the locals along the way, Sara Reimondo and David Suárez have reached the top of the podium. As it is a cyclotourist event, the classification has taken into account the accumulated times of the time trials held in the two stages.
On Saturday's stage, the cyclists started from Club La Santa to cross the north, east, and part of the south of Lanzarote. This route included emblematic places such as Famara, Teguise, Haría, Mirador del Río, Arrieta, Costa Teguise, Arrecife, and Hoya Limpia, among others. Additionally, the participants were part of a Solidarity Section, in which riding together had a direct impact on the donation that the organization will make to a local charity association.

This Sunday, the second and final stage was held, which started in Puerto del Carmen and crossed the south, west, and north of Lanzarote. The two uphill time trials, from Las Casitas to Femés and from the Timanfaya road to Mancha Blanca, served to crown Sara Reimondo and David Suárez as the fastest in the event. Both had also obtained times in the first stage that were higher than those of the rest of the participants.
