As is tradition every year, the municipalities of Lanzarote are preparing to receive the Three Wise Men from the East with different parades that will bring illusion to the most important points of the island. Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar will begin to tour the neighborhoods of Arrecife from early in the morning. Thus, from 10:00 a.m. this Friday, January 5, they will visit different areas of the capital.
The day will reach its peak at 6:00 p.m. with the grand Three Kings Parade. This year, the parade will change its route and will begin from Avenida de Naos (Agramar), pass through Avenida Olaf Palma, Calle Eduardo Aznar y Coste, Avenida Vargas, Avenida Coll, Avenida Marina, Avenida Blas Cabrera Felipe, Calle Doctor Ruperto González y Negrín, and Calle Doctor Rafael González. It will culminate at 9:00 p.m. in the Parque Islas Canarias.
Thus, the mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, and the Councilor for Festivities, Echedey Eugenio, encourage residents and visitors to participate in one of the most magical and special moments of these holidays, and recommend respecting traffic restrictions during the event to ensure the safety and mobility of pedestrians and vehicles in the city during the Three Kings Parade.
Traffic recommendations in Arrecife during the parade
From 5:00 p.m. until the end of the concert in the Parque Islas Canarias, vehicles will not be able to access the following areas: Plaza Las Palmas, Calle Inspector Luis Martín, Calle Juan Quesada, Calle Gobernador José García Hernández, and Calle Extremadura.
Between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., access to La Marina and La Rocar will be possible via Avenida Marítima until the procession passes, resuming passage from the Insular Hospital immediately afterward, thus minimizing the closure of both parking areas. The Arrecife City Council recommends that drivers respect the signposted areas and not leave their cars in these areas during the event.
Their Majesties in Haría
The Three Wise Men from the East will visit the towns of Haría on the morning of this Friday. Thus, at 7:00 p.m. the traditional parade will begin. In it, Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthazar will travel the streets of northern Lanzarote on their camels, where they will enjoy a new atmosphere and will be accompanied by the staging of The House of Herod.
At the same time, they will be officially received at the Town Hall, where the Master Key will be handed over to them and there will be a videomapping show that will be repeated several times to avoid crowds. Thus, the event will conclude with the delivery of gifts in the Plaza de Haría.
Visit of the Three Wise Men to Tinajo
In Tinajo, the traditional parade of Their Majesties will start on Friday at 5:30 p.m. in the area of the Municipal Football Field and will travel through the streets of Tinajo to the Plaza de San Roque, where they will be given the master key that opens the doors of all the houses of Tinajo to be able to deposit all their gifts.
Later, at 7:00 p.m., the stage of the Social Hall will host the traditional and awaited musical show Tangled, by the Municipal Dance School.
The Three Wise Men in Teguise and La Graciosa
The parade procession, organized by the Teguise City Council, will be made up of the three camels and several floats pulled by motor vehicles, accompanied by musical groups, which will depart at 7:30 p.m. from Calle Inés Peraza to Calle Herrera y Rojas, corner of Calle La Sangre, and then continue on foot to Plaza León y Castillo.
The route, which runs from Calle Inés Peraza to the end of Puerto y Villa de Garachico, will have an inclusive section. The parade will be without music during the first section of the route, catering to people with diversity and children with autism.
On the same day, Their Majesties will tour the towns of the municipality during the morning until they reach the grand final parade. While the delivery of gifts and letters by the children will be in the Plaza de la Constitución (Plaza de Los Leones).
In addition, the youth Christmas musical show Never Stop Dreaming, which is organized by the City Council and will take place on January 4 and 5, will also have a calm corner for those children or people with special needs who need to use that space during the performance. This initiative will have the collaboration of the LanzaroTEA Association of the municipality.
Parking for people with reduced mobility will be located at the back of the municipal tent, on Calle Puerto y Villa de Garachico, and on January 5, an additional area will be added in the area of the Convent of San Francisco.
Thus, La Graciosa will also have its traditional parade that will begin at 7:00 p.m. through the main streets of the island and, at the end, they will enjoy a chocolate party.
Route of the Tías Parade
The Tías City Council plans the arrival and reception of the Three Wise Men at the Tiñosa dock at around 11:30 a.m. this Friday. Thus, the royal parade will be at 6:00 p.m. on this January 5 and will run from the southern end of the central avenue Alcalde Florencio Suárez, passing through Calle Libertad and ending at the Francisco Bermúdez Hernández “Pancho” football field, where the Kings will collect the letters from the little ones.

The Three Wise Men will visit the civic centers of El Islote, Montaña Blanca, and Güíme this Thursday, January 4, at 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m., respectively.
The San Bartolomé parade will take place at 5:00 p.m. on the afternoon of this coming Friday. Specifically, it will depart from Playa Honda, from the Guacimeta esplanade, traveling along the avenue to the height of Calle Princesa Ico.
After that, at 7:30 p.m., the San Bartolomé parade will take place. It will depart from the IES San Bartolomé, traveling along Avenida Alcalde Antonio Cabrera Barrera, Calle Calderetas, Párroco San Martín streets, until ending in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

The towns of Yaiza and Playa Blanca are ready to host the Three Kings parades this Friday, January 5 in the afternoon, however, Their Majesties from the East will have a very busy day in the south of Lanzarote because from early in the morning, and after the delivery of the keys of the municipality by municipal representatives in Puerto Calero, they will begin at 10:30 a.m. their journey through the main streets of the thirteen towns of the municipality of Yaiza.
The parade in Yaiza, with its traditional route through the central street of the town, is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., while the parade in Playa Blanca, through the central streets Jaime Quesada and Avenida Papagayo, will be at 7:00 p.m. In both centers, Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthazar will distribute illusions in the company of their cheerful entourage.
Playa Blanca this year also has a new surprise, it is the children's musical Dear Three Wise Men, which takes the stage in the Plaza del Carmen at the end of the parade.
