The commemoration began with a mass in the church of San Ginés, in the capital of Lanzarote, in memory of the police officers who died in the line of duty. Subsequently, at the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, the official ceremony of awarding distinctions and decorations took place, which brought together institutional representatives, security forces and family members of the agents.
