After two days with significant Covid peaks in Lanzarote, with 151 and 180 positives in one day, daily cases have dropped to 79 this Thursday. However, the day before, the number of tests carried out on the island by the Health Department was also considerably reduced. In total there were 287, compared to 500 on Tuesday and 800 on Monday.
As for active cases, they have dropped to 675, as 135 discharges have also been reported in the last day.
After the escalation of the previous two days, the accumulated incidence has also decreased slightly and stands this Thursday at 362 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days and 620 in 14 days.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 20,815 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the island, of which 20,072 have already overcome the disease and 69 have died.
