Alejandro Amenábar and Jesús Calleja left the island for Madrid this Sunday, August 13, as they could be seen at the César Manrique airport.
The filmmaker and the television presenter have spent a few days in Lanzarote and during their stay they have shared moments with Pedro Sánchez and his wife. In fact, this Saturday they could be seen at the Traditional Market installed in the Plaza de Haría. They arrived at the northern town at around one in the afternoon, toured the different stalls and agreed to take photos with everyone who requested it.
During their walk through Haría, they made a stop at one of the reference restaurants in the north of Lanzarote, Tacande, located in the Plaza de Haría. They remained behind closed doors in the aforementioned establishment, which they left around 2:00 p.m. after having tasted local wine. The entourage consisted of about a dozen people.
Alejandro Amenábar is a Spanish-Chilean film director, screenwriter and composer. Winner of nine Goya Awards and an Oscar, he has written the scripts for his seven films and has composed almost all the soundtracks for these films. His films include 'Thesis', 'The Sea Inside', 'The Others', 'Agora' or 'While the War Lasts'. For his part, Jesús Calleja is a mountaineer, adventurer and television presenter of programs such as 'Planeta Calleja' and 'Volando voy'.
