About two hundred people took to the streets this Saturday called by Afol to protest the delay in the start-up of the radiotherapy unit on the island and request the construction of the tower and rehabilitation of the Maternal and Child Hospital of Gran Canaria, "where the boys and girls of Lanzarote go to receive their treatment."
The demonstration left at 10:30 a.m. from the Yellow House on Calle Real and from there they traveled along Avenida Marítima until they reached the Cabildo, where they read. A manifesto that they later delivered to the Cabildo for the president, María Dolores Corujo, "so that she can forward it to whoever it may concern."
