La Aemet activates yellow warnings for swell in Lanzarote and La Graciosa from Sunday afternoon

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated yellow level warnings for coastal phenomena in Lanzarote and La Graciosa starting from 6:00 p.m. this Sunday, April 12, and until midnight.

According to the forecast, combined sea from the north is expected with waves between 4 and 5 meters, in an episode with a probability of between 40% and 70%.

As for temperatures, they will not experience changes. The wind will blow moderate from the north, turning to northeast, increasing to strong in the afternoon when very strong gusts are not ruled out in inland areas.

In addition, on Monday, April 13, a yellow warning for wind will be added that will remain in effect throughout the day, from 00:00 until 00:00 hours on Tuesday 14.

In this case, maximum gusts could reach 70 kilometers per hour, especially in inland areas, with a probability also estimated between 40% and 70%.
