The State Meteorological Agency has activated the yellow warning for high temperatures in Lanzarote for this Saturday. The pre-alert will begin at 11 a.m. and is scheduled to be deactivated that same afternoon, at 7 p.m.

According to Aemet's forecasts, thermometers could reach 34 degrees on the island, especially in inland areas.

The heat will continue on Sunday, although it is not expected to exceed 32 degrees, so in principle there is no warning activated for that day.
