Aemet activates orange warning for wind on Tuesday for Lanzarote

There may be gusts of up to 90 kilometers per hour

The weather will worsen from this Monday in the Canary Islands. The State Meteorological Agency has activated the orange warning for wind for Tuesday, April 9 for Lanzarote, with gusts that may reach 90 kilometers per hour. It will blow from the northeast mainly in areas of the southern interior of the island.

In addition, the Aemet has activated the yellow warning for coastal phenomena for Tuesday. There will be combined sea from the north or northeast increasing to 4 to 5 meters in Lanzarote.

This Monday, April 8 there will be cloudy intervals, fragmenting in the last hours of the day. As for temperatures, they will not experience major changes, reaching a maximum of 24 degrees. The wind will begin to be noticeable and will blow moderately from the north, more intense during midday in elevated areas of the interior.
