The workers of Adislan have decided to resume the strike that they had called and suspended on October 2, after the commitments assumed by the management. Now, the Strike Committee states that these agreements to regularize payments have not been fulfilled.

"Currently, the extraordinary payment for the month of June has not been received" and "the monthly payroll for the month of October either", they point out in a statement, explaining that the management of Adislan has informed them that "if it is paid, it would be done in installments."

Given this situation, the strike call has been reactivated, and will begin next Monday, November 14, affecting all facilities dependent on the Cabildo managed by Adislan.

In addition, the workers will gather every working day in front of the Island Corporation at 11 a.m. to demand a solution from the institution.

"UGT Lanzarote and the Adislan Works Council urge, once again, the Cabildo de Lanzarote to immediately regularize the services managed by Adislan, through a social agreement or through direct public management by the Cabildo, all without putting at risk any job and the quality in the provision of services, and that until then the necessary formulas are sought and provided to guarantee the collection of salaries, in a timely manner, of all workers", they point out in a statement.
