A teacher from IES Costa Teguise has tested positive for Covid-19, which has forced the isolation of seven other teachers who had contact with him in recent days. Health authorities have also carried out tests on these teachers, who have tested negative in the PCR. However, the protocol establishes that the test must be repeated after a few days from the last contact, and until then they must remain in isolation.

Thus, while waiting for the PCR to be repeated next Monday, this institute starts classes without eight teachers, although some of them have already been replaced to start the course.

As for the rest of the schools on the island, all schools have opened their doors this Wednesday "normally", as reported to La Voz from the Ministry of Health.
