The Gran Canaria aerodrome suffered an incident on Tuesday morning after an aircraft was blocked on a taxiway, affecting the runway for approximately 20 minutes, according to Spanish Airports and Air Navigation.

This incident has caused seven flights to be delayed from their initially scheduled time, one of them from the island of Lanzarote. AENA indicates that there have been no diversions or cancellations regarding the scheduled flights and that it has not affected passengers either.

The entity emphasizes that air traffic is now normalized and adds that it was an "isolated event, although there may still be some delays."
