The company "We Whale" located in Puerto Calero started last Monday, May 1, excursions to spot cetaceans or whales on a sustainable catamaran with an "electric motor", una new experience "different from those that exist now" in Lanzarote.
"The difference is remarkable and the clients are happy", recognizes Janek, its founder. Last Tuesday, May 2, "we saw four species throughout the day", he confesses.
To guarantee their sighting, "we have done the necessary sea tests" and "we have a ratio of 70 or 80%", he adds.
A boat baptized as "Santa María", "CO2-free and silent", equipped with signs, "a hydrophone" to listen to the sound of the animals and with "special cameras", he adds. It is also "a masterclass concept on board the catamaran" with "recordings to explain all the details", he adds.
In addition, it is "important" to "not disturb the animals in their natural habitat, since they are sensitive to noise and also for the enjoyment of the clients' experience".
"With a capacity for 12 people, a trip without dizziness and without engine noise"
With a maximum capacity for 12 people, through these novel measures, dolphin lovers can enjoy a trip "without dizziness", free from the annoying "engine noise" and also with the gift of "sunsets" included, says Janek.
For those who love to connect with the sea and these animals, the excursions are carried out every day, in the morning and afternoon.
