The Emergency Consortium has reported the arrival of a new precarious boat on the coasts of Lanzarote. This is the tenth boat that has been rescued this Monday, November 4.
According to initial estimates, there would be about 65 people of Maghreb origin traveling in the inflatable boat and they are in good health. Maritime Rescue has transferred them to Puerto Naos in the capital of Lanzarote, where they have been attended by the Red Cross.
Throughout this day, 486 people from nine inflatable boats have been assisted, including 31 women and a minimum of twelve minors, according to the counts provided by the Red Cross. Of these, the NGO has had to transfer five of the occupants to Molina Orosa due to different pathologies.
