A new boat has been located near Lanzarote, according to the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium.
There were 51 people of Maghreb origin traveling in the boat, including 40 men, seven women and four minors, all in apparent good health.
Maritime Rescue has transferred them to the Commercial dock of the capital of Lanzarote where they have been attended by the Red Cross. None of them have had to be evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
In the last 24 hours, four boats have arrived on the island.
