The Al Nair vessel of Maritime Rescue rescued a boat this Monday in waters near Lanzarote. The vessel was intercepted at about 4:30 p.m. by a large merchant ship that could not transfer the migrants to the port of Arrecife due to its large size.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the Salvamar Al Nair traveled to the place where the ship was to rescue the members of the boat.
About 33 men of Maghrebi origin are traveling in the boat. According to the Red Cross, a transfer has been made to health centers for different pathologies.
Once rescued, the members will be transferred to the Puerto Naos dock to be attended by the Red Cross.
