This Saturday, December 7th at 12 noon, the security personnel of the La Graciosa dock alerted the Security and Emergency Consortium about the sighting of two birds that could be pelicans. The firefighters immediately went to the scene to provide technical assistance.
Once at the dock, the Consortium's personnel took photographs of the birds and proceeded to notify TRAGSA, the company in charge of managing this type of situation.
The captured images were sent to TRAGSA for analysis and possible identification of the sighted species. This unusual sighting has generated interest, as pelicans are not common birds in the Canary Islands.
