An American Bully dog was thrown inside the Sara animal shelter this past Friday night.
"We still can't wrap our heads around how one or more people can plan to abandon an animal, let alone throw it inside a shelter," they lament from the group. "Luckily, a tragedy did not occur since he could have fractured a leg or been attacked by the dogs in the yard where they left him. We don't even want to imagine what would have happened if instead of falling in the yard where Sura is, he had fallen into another cage," they add.
From Sara they explain that for a few weeks they have been receiving several calls from people who want to give up their dog, "we don't know if it's out of fear of the new law, due to housing problems or for another series of things, but we are really scared with the number of people who want to leave their animals."
"Nothing justifies abandonment, nothing," they emphasize from Sara and "even less so by putting the lives of animals at risk."
Finally, they inform that the dog has been named Federico, he is four and five years old and "he is a sweetheart of a dog", when the legally required period passes, they will put him up for adoption.
