The residents of Titerroy have reported that "less than a week ago" a sports basket "collapsed" while young people were playing basketball in the Julián León de Tejera park. "A tragedy could have happened, the structure fell completely", the citizens of the area have highlighted through the Neighborhood Association.

An event that accompanies the requests that the residents of the neighborhood have been making for years, in which they demand that the parks "be equipped with sports courts". What they criticize from the group of citizens is that to make use of any sports court in the neighborhood, it has to be paid for. "We demand outdoor multi-sports courts that allow offering the maximum number of sports specialties in a reduced space", they pointed out.

In addition, the neighborhood association has assured that for several years, the Arrecife City Council has had a "project to install" a court in the Club Los Leones playground, and that to date "nothing has been done", they criticized.

In addition, the citizens residing in Titerroy have highlighted some of the damages that are still present in the neighborhood. In La Fermina street, they ask that the palm trees be pruned, that the service be improved, because the leaves are drying and falling on the public road. To which is added, the "great sinkhole" that is in José Pereyra Galviaty street, the state of the road that the neighbors have echoed for months.

A series of damages that are accompanied by many others collected by the neighborhood association, with a total of 39 requests to the City Council. The 17 neighborhoods of Arrecife "do not want to be second-class citizens and therefore, we deserve the same attention and dedication", they argued.

"We do not want wet paper, we want a firm commitment", they have remarked. The neighborhood group wants what was publicly stated by the mayor, Yonathan de León, to be "fulfilled". "This year will be the year of the transformation of the neighborhoods", the mayor commented some time ago.

The citizens have stated that they made official questions to be informed about the improvements planned for this neighborhood. Questions that "were not properly clarified". "We are still waiting for the announced transformation to be explained to us", they concluded.
