The recent rains in Lanzarote have left an unusual image on the island. These days, the Mala dam, the only large construction to store rainwater on the island, has been seen these days with water inside.
As can be seen in the images, there is vegetation in the background, although it has hardly any water, part of which has already seeped through since the dam is disused and was also built in an area of permeable soil.
This filtration can be observed in the area at the base of the construction in the Barranco Valle del Palomo, where there is a small stream that flows into a large puddle. An unusual scene on the island that transports us to another island.
