On the occasion of the festivities in honor of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, four agents of the Canarian Police will move this weekend to the town of La Santa, with the aim of reinforcing security, according to reports the Cabildo of Lanzarote.

"The forecast is that many people will move to La Santa to enjoy the festival program organized by the City Council of Tinajo, so it is "great news the arrival of these four agents"," says Oswaldo Betancort, who assures that "he will request from the Government of the Canary Islands all the necessary collaboration to ensure the safety of the festivals of the towns of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, with agents who support the great work of the municipal police and members of the State Security Forces and Corps (FCSE)".

On this occasion, the four agents of the Canary Police, who will arrive on the island in two vehicles of the police force, will collaborate with the Local Police of Tinajo and the Civil Guard to guarantee security in the town of Tinajo.

The president of the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium, Francisco Aparicio, values "positively this police reinforcement, although he also invites citizens to enjoy parties with respect for civic and coexistence norms, and also maximum care of the environment where they are held."
