The CEO of the Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism of Lanzarote, Ángel Vázquez, has announced on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero that the national television channel Telecinco will broadcast the Canary Islands New Year's Eve show from Jameos del Agua this New Year's Eve.
The work that César Manrique carried out in the volcanic tube of the eruption of the La Corona volcano will host the retransmission of the change of year from one of the most special spaces in Lanzarote.
"We will broadcast the New Year's Eve show for Telecinco, for the rest of the national territory, from Jameos del Agua. We are already talking to Mediaset," Vázquez assured. Specifically, the former Silvio Berlusconi channel will offer the chimes in Canary Islands time from Lanzarote and will make a national broadcast of 15 minutes, according to data provided by the counselor.
This is not the first time that Mediaset has offered the chimes from the island of Lanzarote. The channel said goodbye to the year 1999 from the municipality of Haría.
In addition, the island's images that appear in the advertising spaces of Telecinco and Cuatro have also been renewed from the Centers. "They were very burned already," added the counselor. Now the videos show the different Centers, as well as their gastronomic offer.
