A woman has denounced on social networks the presence of debris in an area near La Geria, specifically between the slopes of the Tinasoria and Montaña Mojón mountains.
In the video, uploaded by the profile @lanzarotevivo to TikTok, you can see how there are two piles of rubble formed by wood, metals and remains of what could be a construction site. "Every corner has garbage", he said in the recording.
The presence of waste and debris in different parts of Lanzarote is a common sight. As La Voz published, other citizens have also complained about the large amount of garbage in the surroundings of Montaña Mina, where some people throw the remains of rubble in a natural area, turning the area into a garbage dump.
Some municipalities on the island, such as San Bartolomé and Tías, have a mobile application called Línea Verde with which you can report this type of spill and indicate exactly the point where it is located so that the corresponding administration can remove them.
