Photographer Marcial Martín has managed to capture with his camera an impressive image of the full moon that illuminated the night in Lanzarote this Wednesday. The photograph, taken from the town of Tao with a 100mm40mm lens, shows the moon rising behind Teguise with a contrast between the orange color of the satellite and the white of the island's houses
"I arrived about 40 minutes early to check the conditions and make adjustments to the camera on site. The clouds were approaching from Famara and it didn't look good, but I waited and at 6:09 PM, 10 minutes earlier than I calculated, I saw it emerge further to the left than expected and I had to run," he says.
"I suspected it, and that's why I left the backpack in the car so I could go faster and arrive on time. Then I reached the framing and had to make adjustments on the fly before the moon gained more altitude, but I finally managed it," he continues.
The next supermoon will be on December 5
