Around 25 students of the Pharmacy Technician cycle of the CIFP Zonzamas received a theoretical class this Thursday taught by the member of the Official College of Pharmacists of Las Palmas in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Alicia Wildpret.
After that, they attended a practical session in the warehouse of the Canarian Pharmaceutical Cooperative (COFARCA), located in Arrecife, to expand the theoretical class on pharmaceutical distribution. At the place, they were received by the Technical Director of the Warehouse, Paula Reyes.
The Warehouse Manager, Alfredo Prieto, explained to the students the processes of ordering, receiving and dispatching medicines, in a practical session of great interest to the students.
The practice of master classes taught by the member of the College of Pharmacists has been carried out for the first time in this academic year. "This is a very fruitful and interesting collaboration and from the Official College of Pharmacists we are always available to the CEFP Zonzamas to collaborate in the training of students, who will develop their profession in the Pharmacy Office", Wildpret told La Voz.
"We have been collaborating in the training of students for several years, who value and appreciate it, as do the teachers of the Center", he reported. Two teachers from the center also attended the visit. "In the current framework of DUAL training, these practical sessions are more important than ever and the disinterested collaboration of COFARCA makes it possible for the theory to make sense by allowing students to see how things are in the reality of a medicine distribution warehouse", he pointed out in statements to this medium.
