Although La Voz already published in September that the island was chosen by Telecinco to say goodbye to the year in the Canary Islands, the network has confirmed this Wednesday that the island has also been chosen to say goodbye to 2024 at a national level.
Los Jameos del Agua is the stage chosen by Mediaset to welcome 2025 and, in addition, has already revealed the presenters. The presenter Ion Aramendi and the actress Blanca Romero will be in charge of hosting the broadcast of the New Year's Eve broadcast for the Peninsula on December 31 with which the network will welcome the new year. The broadcast will be offered live in simulcast on Telecinco and Cuatro.
For its part, the Canary Islands New Year's Eve broadcast, one hour after the national one, will be presented by the journalist and presenter Ángeles Blanco and the presenter Ricardo Reyes with a new live broadcast on Telecinco.
