The Auditorium of Los Jameos del Agua hosted this Friday, April 19, starting at 7:30 p.m., the presentation of diplomas and the graduation ceremony of the students belonging to the X Promotion of graduates in Tourism from the University School of Tourism of Lanzarote (EUTL).

The protagonists of this event, who began their academic studies in the 2016/2017 academic year and completed their training in the 2019/2020 academic year, faced a challenge that the pandemic posed, also for the educational system.

Four years after their official graduation, several students from this promotion took the initiative to organize the graduation ceremony that, unfortunately, they could not carry out at the time, so this event has a special meaning for all of them.

The ceremony was presided over by academic personalities, including the rector of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Lluís Serra Majem; the Minister of Education of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Ascensión Toledo; and the director of the University School of Tourism of Lanzarote (EUTL), Eva Crespo.

This graduation ceremony not only represents the closing of an academic stage, but also the beginning of new opportunities and challenges for these young professionals. The Cabildo of Lanzarote, presided over by Oswaldo Betancort, congratulates the graduates of Promotion X of the EUTL.
