The Lanzaroteño Club of Presa Canario congratulates for the "extraordinary trajectory" that Guadaneth Gofio is starring, a young Presa Canario specimen that, with only 18 months of age, begins to build an exceptional track record inside and outside our borders.

From the club they point out that "his great international journey began with a result that already foreshadowed what was to come: third best young dog in the world, a recognition achieved against top international specimens and that placed Guadaneth Gofio among the most outstanding young Presa Canarios on the world stage".

"A record that acquires even greater relevance considering that we are talking about a dog only 18 months old, whose career has practically just begun and who still has a whole future ahead of him," they add.

From the Lanzaroteño Club of Presa Canario, they congratulate its owners and breeders, Azarías Álvarez and Laureano Álvarez, for the work of selection, breeding, and planning behind this trajectory, as well as recognizing the important work carried out by his handler, Laetizia Melina, in charge of his presentation during this successful European tour.

Furthermore, Guadaneth Gofio is the nephew of the multi-champion Covadonga de Fencing Dogs, the most awarded dog in the history of the Presa Canario, and everything indicates that young Guadaneth has begun to follow in the footsteps that led Covadonga to become a historical reference of our breed.

"For our Club, it is also a special satisfaction to see how a Presa Canario bred from Lanzarote continues to carry the name of our breed through the European rings, contributing to the dissemination, promotion, and international recognition of a fundamental part of our livestock and cultural heritage," they assure.

Finally, from the club they state that "today we celebrate what has been achieved, but, above all, we celebrate what it represents: 18 months of age, Europe traveled, numerous titles won, and a whole career still ahead. Guadaneth Gofio has just started".
