Emerlan carried out a total of 5,342 interventions in 2023 in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. The NGO intervened in 2,261 actions in the field of emergencies and 3,081 in the social field.
The emergency interventions were distributed in 2,013 in Lanzarote and 248 in La Graciosa, where they carried out sea rescues, health care, DRON flights, actions by the K9 unit, preventive services, activations due to rain, among others.
For its part, the Social Department carried out 3,081 interventions, highlighting adapted transfers, distribution of essential goods and care in the social canteen and in the social home.
The NGO was founded in 2001 and will be 23 years old serving the people of Lanzarote and La Graciosa. This 2024, it has entered the year with new projects and illusions that will soon come to light, they advance from Emerlan.
