A tourist has published a video on social networks in which she relieves herself in the natural space of Las Grietas in Lanzarote.
This young woman shared a video on the social network TikTok of how she was looking for a place to relieve herself. "I can't help it. I'm like a little animal," she added.
In addition, the video was shared with the phrase: "POV: You need to leave your mark on every place you step." The expression POV comes from the English Point Of View, which translates as point of view.
It should be remembered that this is not the first time that a natural space on the island has been affected by the bad practices and behaviors of some visitors. Walks off the trail in the El Cuervo volcano, drone flights in unauthorized spaces, skidding in the La Corona volcano, bathers in prohibited spaces such as the Jameos del Agua or El Charco Verde, are some of these examples.
The Cabildo of Lanzarote has decided to launch a project in which it will distribute ten informants throughout the island in different spaces to convey the importance of preserving and caring for the environment, as well as showing the natural beauty of Lanzarote.
