A citizen has sent La Voz images of a car parked in the Las Grietas area, in Tías, with broken windows. Apparently, someone broke it to steal a bag from a group of tourists who came to visit this place.
Many tourists come to this area daily to see the curious sandy shapes in the mountain. However, the City Council made a ditch in one of the improvised parking lots so that it would not be used as a parking lot, something that did not work because visitors have looked for other areas in the surroundings to park.
In addition, due to the large influx of people, Las Grietas has become a place where some tourists have been injured due to the orography of the terrain.
