The collective De Lanzarote con Palestina gathered last Saturday in Arrecife to demand "the end of the genocide" in Gaza and to show their "solidarity" with the Palestinian people. One of the issues for which the humanitarian entity demonstrated in the capital of Lanzarote was the "impact of the war on children", as a hundred people were demonstrating in the streets, according to figures provided by the association, in the center of the capital of Lanzarote.

The gathering was called in the Plazuela de Arrecife, at 12:00 noon, from where the attendees were on the Calle Real for the reading of the different messages. With flags of Palestine, and posters with phrases such as "Free Palestine, justice for its people", "the whole world must hear our brave voice", "no to genocide" and "for the peace of Palestine", those present have demanded.

In this new call for peace, the humanitarian entity dedicates its words to the "impact of the war on children", in a sign of mourning for the "more than 15,000 boys and girls killed to date since the beginning of the conflict", the collective revealed. The reason why they appear dressed in black clothes and carry sacks simulating the death of the boys and girls.

Their manifesto invited to denounce "the loss of thousands of frustrated lives that could not be developed and that in their short existence suffered all the enormous pain that can fit in such small bodies".

In addition, De Lanzarote con Palestina celebrated the "implication" to date of the Spanish government with the Palestinian situation, but publicly demands the "severance of relations with the government of Israel and that it leads the European solidarity response, urging more countries to recognize the Palestinian State and to join South Africa in its denunciation of genocide against Israel before the International Criminal Court", they stated. "Palestine is not alone, here we are, in Lanzarote, all of us supporting, denouncing the death of so many boys and girls and fighting for their rights and freedoms", they proclaimed.
