Firefighters rescued a young foreign woman with an ankle fracture on Papagayo Beach this Sunday. Emergency personnel went to the scene at 1:31 p.m., when they were alerted by the CECOES.
Upon arrival, they saw that the young woman could not walk and had suffered a fracture in her left ankle, the Security and Emergency Consortium pointed out. Emergency personnel accessed the place where the injured woman was with the vehicle and was transferred to the ambulance.
Immediately afterwards, the health services placed a splint on her and once in the ambulance, the young woman was evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
Agents from the Local Police and a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service were transferred to the scene, the Security and Emergency Consortium reported.
